allcop Farbbild-Service GmbH & Co. KG is a fulfillment service provider for imaging products and a specialist in white-label solutions for product personalization. Founded in 1959,

the company is one of Germany’s largest photo finishers and currently employs over 200 people; during the peak season starting in October, it typically adds 100 temporary employees.

As a third-generation family business, the company focuses on automated photo finishing, on-demand production, and resource-efficient processes. The logistics and production facility opened two years ago expanded the possibilities for intelligent warehousing. For the “Natur Pur Photo Book,” allcop was awarded silver in the “Recycled Paper Printer of the Year” category at the 2024 Print & Media Awards. The sustainable photo book is 100% Blue Angel certified.

Imaging Solutions AG was founded in 2003 and is a Swiss manufacturer of custom systems for photo and print finishing. ISAG’s automated workflow systems enable high-quality print finishing of books, photo books, individual photos, calendar pages, postcards, and posters—both in large print runs and as one-off items.

A total of 26 ISAG units have been installed at allcop in recent years, most recently the fastCut & Pack system for fully automated cutting and packaging. Based on allcop’s clearly defined requirements, a specification document was created, and all required points were successively addressed through collaborative development, resulting in a customer-specific, highly integrated complete solution for the industrial cutting of large quantities of photo rolls with fully automated packaging into photo pouches now available at allcop.

fastCut & Pack integrates the work steps of unrolling, cutting, stacking the prints according to the order, filling the photo pouches from the feed magazine, and sealing the self-adhesive sleeve. A label module prints an individual identification label and affixes it to the filled photo pouch. A robotic sorter automatically sorts up to four order types and fills the corresponding cartons/boxes.
