This is our latest innovation for multi-format orders printed on single sheets.
The system handles various kinds of digital press paper and supports a wide format range, including B2+ and SRA3+ sheets. With a performance of up to 11'000 cuts per hour (4” × 6”), it ensures high productivity and flexibility in sheet processing. It features automatic edge trimming on both sides with a roller knife and can be equipped with an optional pallet feeder for continuous operation. An inkjet back print for easy print identification is optionally available, as is a 10- or 7-compartment conveyor belt.

Automated Multi-Format Cutting: Efficiently processes multi-format print orders and streamlining production workflows. The handling of mixed print orders is challenging for printing labs because it requires lots of space and manpower to sort and store all print sizes of each order before merging and packaging. There is a solution that reduces these efforts and greatly simplifies the production workflow without splitting print orders underway:
multiCut allows for automated xy-cutting and sorting of multi-format print orders from roll. The X-cut trims the roll into strips with image prints of the same size, which are cut off the strip by the subsequent Y-cut. The prints of the order are arranged to start with large size and end with the smallest print on top making packing very easy. Capable of handling up to 11'000 photo cuts per hour, ensuring rapid and consistent output.

multiCut Photo Roll
XY Cutter for Silver Halide Prints
Highlights
multiCut is also available for silver halide (AgX) photo rolls. Since AgX paper is exposed right up to the edge, the edge trimming module is not required. Instead of cut mark sensors multiCut Photo uses punchmark sensors to detect the X-cut position. All other features correspond to those of the multiCut Digital. Both multiCut versions can optionally be equipped with an inkjet back printer for print identification, a poster tray for prints up to 1m (40”) length and a conveyor belt with 10 or 5 compartments for the stacked orders.

fastCut is a high-speed cutting system for single photo prints from roll. With a cutting speed of up to 10 cuts per second, fastCut increases the productivity in processing photo print orders massively. The machine handles both photo paper and digitally printed paper. fastCut is a fully modular system and can be upgraded with several modules to further increase productivity, likea four-fold unwinder that automatically splices the rolls together and a conveyor belt with 7 compartments. The machine can even be upgraded with an in-line packing module to the fully automatic fastCut & Pack.

wideCut 370 is a multifunctional cutter that cuts posters, book pages and covers, and optionally also cuts and punches calendar sheets. wideCut 370 handles a wide range of formats. Print size can range from 127 - 370mm (5 – 14.6”) print width and 89 – 1’000 mm (3.5 - 39.4”) print length. The machine processes both silver halide paper and digital print paper. Optionally with edge trimming on both sides.

Highlights
fastCut & Pack is a highly integrated complete solution for industrial volume photo cutting from roll with fully automatic wallet packaging. fastCut & Pack integrates the worksteps decurling, cutting, stacking the prints order by order, filling the wallet which is fed from the supply magazine and closing the self-adhesive cover. A label module prints an individual identification label and sticks it onto the wallet. An optional Robot Sorter sorts up to four order types automatically into boxes.
